Have extra coats, gloves, scarves, or winter gear that you want to give away? Have children or teens that have outgrown their coats? Looking for a good place to donate these coats?

The Civic Engagement Office is hosting its annual coat drive for families in need in Norristown. Every year, ACLAMO (Acción Comunal Latinoamericana de Montgomery County) holds a holiday toy distribution for the children in the community. As a part of this event, Bryn Mawr College distributes coats, gloves, scarves, and other winter accessories for these children and parents. The Civic Engagement Office has collected a large number of coats in past years and is hoping for the same results this year. Look for donation boxes in dorms and public buildings around campus.

The last day to donate is December 10.
