The Arts Program is looking to borrow “natural-looking” faux trees, at least six feet tall, for a dance piece to be performed as a part of the Spring Dance Concert. E-mail Technical Director of Theater Rose Bochansky if you are willing to part with a tree for about three months or so.
Nominations are now being accepted for the Newberry Award, a $1,000 prize given annually to a staff member who embodies the spirit of the College’s Green Plan by putting its principles into practice in the workplace.
The Annabel Jane Wharton lecture originally scheduled for 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 25, in Carpenter B-21. Has been postponed due to the weather. The lecture will be rescheduled for a later date.
Nominations for the 2010 McPherson Awards are due by Friday, Feb. 26. Each year, the Collee recognizes McPherson Fellows from the faculty, the staff, and the graduate and undergraduate student bodies for excellence and service to the community, either within or beyond the boundaries of this institution.
