Reception Honors Career Development’s Jane Finkle

The Career Development Office invites the Bryn Mawr Community to a reception honoring Jane Finkle, the office’s assistant director and pre-law adviser, from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 12, in the Dorothy Vernon Room of Haffner Hall. Finkle is leaving Bryn Mawr on May 31.

Finkle came to Bryn Mawr in 2003 with a masters in counseling psychology from the University of Rochester. She taught career development courses at the University of Pennsylvania and Chestnut Hill College and had the distinct honor of serving as a delegate for the National Career Development Association’s Professional Exchange Program in China in 2005.

She was the president of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Association of Career Professionals-International and is a member of the National Career Development Association and the National Association of Pre-Law Advisers. She was a frequent guest on the CN8 Morning Show and currently facilitates the Professional Women’s Group for the Philadelphia Affiliate of Dress for Success and provides career consulting through the Valentine Foundation and the Empowering Emerging Women Leaders of Nonprofits Serving Women and Girls program at LaSalle’s Nonprofit Center.
