To the Senior Class:
Using Virtual Bryn Mawr, carefully review both your spring grades and your Requirements Report. The latter will include transfer credit from all transcripts received by June 1. Review the degree requirements posted on the Dean’s Office Website and in the Undergraduate Catalog.
Remember, it’s your responsibility to make sure you’re on track, not the registrar’s or the dean’s.
If your requirements are all done, and you have at least 24 units, you can stop reading and go on to enjoy the rest of your summer!
If you find that you have not completed any one of the requirements that must be done before the start of the senior year, including PE, or that you are deficient in units (you should have at least 24 by now), now is the time to come up with a plan of action!
- If you are short on credits because we haven’t yet received your transcript from a spring 2010 study-abroad program, please e-mail your dean to explain the situation. (If your dean will be Trecia Pottinger, who won’t be in the office until Aug. 9, please e-mail Judy Balthazar instead.)
- If you have already secured permission from the Special Cases Committee to complete one of your requirements during your senior year, or if the committee has reduced your residency requirement, please e-mail your dean to remind him or her of your plan.
- If you are not planning to graduate in May 2011, please e-mail your dean.
- If none of the above applies to you, you must now propose a plan to complete your requirements in order to remain in good standing at the college. Submit your plan to the Special Cases Committee by Aug. 9. The plan must then be approved by both the committee and your dean. If for any reason you cannot complete your plan by this deadline, please contact your dean.
