Students from across the United States and around the world will arrive on Bryn Mawr’s campus in the upcoming week.
International students—including almost 70 in the incoming class of 2014—will join hall advisors and customs people in the dorms this weekend.
Most of the class of 2014 arrives on Wednesday, to be greeted by admissions officers dispensing Philadelphia-style water ice and a welcome assembly featuring addresses and introductions to key student-services personnel. “Customs Week,” during which new students are introduced to Bryn Mawr’s campus and traditions, lasts through the following weekend.
Residence halls open for upperclasswomen on Friday, Aug. 27, and classes begin on Monday, Aug. 30.
