Zipcar, the world’s largest car-sharing service, is now available on the Bryn Mawr campus, says Student Activites Director Mary Beth Horvath.

The Zipcar fleet at Bryn Mawr inclues one Toyota Prius (named Predator, after the College’s mascot) and one Scion xB (named Brynnie), which are parked in the Radnor parking lot in two space closest to the sidewalk.

Students, faculty, and staff who are at least 18 years old and meet Zipcar’s eligibility requirements are eligible to join Zipcar for an annual membership fee of $35, which is applied as a credit toward reservations in the first month.

Weekday rates to reserve a zipcar begin at $8/hour and $66/day, up to 180 miles; weekend rates begin at $9/hour and $72/day. For more information, see the Zipcar page on the Student Activities website.
