Flickr Group Showcases Community Photos

Want to share your best photos of Bryn Mawr’s stunning campus and fascinating people with the world? Join the Bryn Mawr Flickr group! The College Communications Office will regularly select favorites from photos added to the group to feature in slideshows on various pages of the College’s website, including the student, faculty, and staff gateways and a soon-to-be-launched social-media page.

Founded several years ago by an alumna, the group is open to the public, and students, faculty, staff, alumnae/i, and friends of the College are welcome to join the group and add their Bryn Mawr-themed photos. New members will be asked to agree to a set of basic rules regarding intellectual-property and privacy rights (photos taken in private spaces such as dorm rooms  shouldn’t be posted there).

To join, go to the group page and click on one of the “join” links. If you’re not already a Flickr member, you’ll be asked to open an account, which requires signing up with Yahoo! Make a note of your username and password if you don’t plan to use the Yahoo! account, and please remember to tag your photos “Bryn Mawr College” — the quotation marks are required to make sure it isn’t read as three separate tags. The world is waiting to see Bryn Mawr through your eyes!
