Inside Bryn Mawr: Kudos

ACE Fellow Visits College of the Bahamas

Posted February 9, 2012

Villanova University Associate Professor of Communications Susan Mackey-Kellis, who is spending the 2011-12 academic year at Bryn Mawr as an American Council on Education (ACE) Fellow, recently joined four other ACE fellows at the College of the Bahamas.

The group traveled to the Bahamas at the invitation of College of the Bahamas President Betsy Bose, who is a former ACE Fellow, to learn more about tertiary education in the country and to explore possible linkages between the College of the Bahamas and their home institutions.

In addition to numerous on campus visits with various college administrators, faculty, and students, the fellows made courtesy calls to the U.S. Embassy, the Governor General,  and other government officials.
