Social Work’s Sanford Schram named 2012 Recipient of the Charles McCoy Career Achievement Award

Visiting Professor of Social Work and Social Research Sanford Schram, has been selected as the 2012 recipient of the Charles McCoy Career Achievement Award from the American Political Science Association (APSA). The award is given annually since 2000 by the Caucus for a New Political Science section of the APSA and goes to a scholar and professor whose career has demonstrated excellence in teaching and research consistent with the goals of the Caucus. Prior awardees include Frances Fox Piven. Schram is slated to receive the award at this year’s APSA meeting in New Orleans.
