Emily Kirchner ’12 Named NACUFS Mid-Atlantic Region Student of the Year Nominee

Emily Kirchner ’12 has been named a National Association of College and University Food Services (NACUFS) Mid-Atlantic Region Student of the Year Nominee.

The award recognizes student employees who exemplify reliability, quality of work, initiative, team work, and contribution to their employer. According to her nomination letter, Kirchner has been praised for her ability to achieve academic success while working as Head Student Supervisor for Bryn Mawr’s Dining Services Department.

Kirchner will now compete with five other regions for National Student of the Year. She is competing for a chance to win a $5,000 scholarship and a trip to the National Conference in Boston in July to receive her award.
