English Professor Katherine Rowe Among Speakers at Symposium Highlighting Shakespeare in New Media

Bryn Mawr College Professor of English Katherine Rowe will be among the speakers at Interpreting Shakespeare Across Settings and Media, a June 2 symposium organized by the Stratford Shakespeare Festival.

The symposium will feature influential theatre artists and intellectuals discussing how Shakespeare’s work lends itself to a broad range of media, interpretations, and settings.

A recipient of grants from the NEH, the Mellon Foundation, and the Pennsylvania Department of Education that support her work in the digital humanities, Rowe is associate editor of The Cambridge World Shakespeare Online, and cofounder of Luminary digital press. She has served on the editorial board of Shakespeare Quarterly.
