Over the summer, the College Communications Office and Web Services will be working with Berkeley, Calif.-based firm Addis Creson to refresh the College’s website, making use of the color palettes and typography standards found in the College’s new visual identity style guide. As in previous website-refresh projects, the refresh will take advantage of the standardization of Web pages achieved in 2008 to make cosmetic changes to the site with little or no effort required of those who maintain pages in the current templates.
The last refresh was launched in February of 2010, and that refresh included some changes in navigation to better meet the needs of the College community and its audiences. This refresh is limited to appearance only, and will not make any changes to navigation or structure. The new look will be focused on displaying the College’s new visual identity and presenting a fresh, yet consistent, image to the world.
The new look of the website will be launched in the fall.
