Dependent Tuition Payments
In order to ensure that payment occurs in December, spring tuition bills must be received in Human Resources by noon on Monday, December 17. The documentation that you submit needs to at least indicate the name of the school, the name of the student, the tuition charge and where the payment should be mailed. Please note that on-line bill screen prints often exclude this information. Also, I often receive bills that are several weeks old and are already close to being due. Since the bill is now often sent on-line to your child, it is important that he or she knows to send a copy to you immediately upon receipt, as the payment window for the spring semester is not very wide.
Flexible Spending Account
The 2013 open enrollment period ends on Friday, December 14. Eligible employees can enroll through the following site:
If you want to enroll in this program or change your election for January please return a new agreement by noon on Friday, December 14.
The deadline is earlier so that January TransitCheks can be distributed starting on December 17 instead of December 20.
Pension Salary Reduction
The deadline for changing a reduction in January is Friday, December 21, the last day that the College is open prior to Winter Break. The salary reduction agreement and new 2013 salary maximums can be accessed through the following site:
If you are using the higher maximum for employees age 50 and over, please remember to check the appropriate box on the form and enter your date of birth.
