GSSWSR Sandy Schram Has Book Selected By Choice Magazine; Published on

Disciplining the Poor: Neoliberal Paternalism and the Persistent Power of Race, a book co-authored by Sandy Schram,  a visiting professor in the Graduate School of Social Work and Social Research, has been selected as a CHOICE Magazine Outstanding Academic Title for 2013. The list of outstanding titles is chosen from the over 7,000 books reviewed the previous year.

Schram also had an article published on The article, titled “Occupy Neoliberalism: Mad as Hell and Not Going to Take it Anymore,” discusses the time for mass mobilization against capitalism.
