The following email was sent to faculty, students, and staff by Assistant Dean and Director of Leadership and Community Development Vanessa Christman on Thursday, March 13.
The Pensby Center invites you to join us Thursday, March 20th from 12-1:30 PM for our second Diversity Conversation of the semester, “Identity Abroad.”
How do our experiences in other places shape our identity–or cause us to examine it? What challenges emerge when we are not in our familiar environment? What opportunities?
Bryn Mawr College students, staff and faculty are encouraged to attend the discussion. We understand that not everyone has had the opportunity to live or study abroad. All participants will be encouraged to join this conversation about the impacts on us when we experience a culture or way of life different than our own.
To sign up by Sunday, March 16, go to: www.SignUpGenius.com/go/10C0E4EABAE22A1FB6-diversity/1258974
