accentimage_00Associate Dean and Director of Bryn Mawr’s Postbaccalaureate Health Professions Advising Program Jodi Domsky was awarded the Buck Hill ’68 Award by the Northeast Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (NEAAHP) in June of this year. She was chosen for her outstanding service to NEAAHP, demonstrating several key qualities that have earned the respect of her peers.

NEAAHP is the professional association for staff and faculty at colleges in the Northeast who advise students in preparation for entering the health professions. During her 20 years working with postbac premedical students, Domsky has served in many leadership roles within the NEAAHP, including a term as president and several years as the co-chair of a liaison group comprised of advisors and admissions/student affairs deans from medical schools in the Northeast. “Although Jodi fulfills all of the criteria for the Buck Hill Award amply, the ‘bridging gaps and building partners’ piece really stood out for members of the Executive Board,” says the NEAAHP regional secretary Kirsten Peterson.
