ESL Faculty Support Session

What We Wish You Knew

You are invited to attend a  discussion of how classroom practices can ease international students’ adjustment to academic life at Bryn Mawr. Student panelists will talk about the kinds of assignments and learning activities they have found difficult and confusing and those that they have found accessible and enlightening. They will tell us what they wish their teachers knew about the challenges of studying in a secondary language and an unfamiliar culture.

Several faculty members have requested that we offer this session again this year. If you came to last spring’s discussion, do join us again. All the panelists are new this year and will have different experiences and insights to share.

Monday, April 20
Quita Woodward Memorial Room, Thomas Hall
