Students will study with award-winning New York based choreographer Vicky Shick who will set a piece on and with them. Weekend intensives: Oct 24–25, Oct 31–Nov 1, Nov 13–14, 20–21, Dec 5, plus two additional one hour rehearsals in November.

BI-CO MUSIC AUDITIONS
For the Bi-College Chamber Singers

A mixed choir of 30 voices who perform challenging repertoire ranging from the Renaissance to the present day in a variety of languages and styles.

Rehearsals for Chamber Singers are Monday and Tuesday afternoons in MacCrate Hall (Haverford) from 4:30-5:50 and Thursdayafternoons from 4:20-5:40 in the Music Room at Goodhart Hall (Bryn Mawr). Visitors are always welcome at rehearsals!

For the Bi-Co Chorale

The Chorale is a Wednesday night institution in bi-college life. An oratorio choir of 120-150 singers, the Chorale performs a major work with orchestra each semester under the direction of Professor Thomas Lloyd.

Members include bi-college students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends from the surrounding community. The orchestra is usually made up of advanced bi-college musicians supplemented by music students from Curtis and Temple. Soloists have included students who are members of Chorale, Chamber Singers and guest artists.

Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings from 6:50 – 8:50 in Marshall Auditorium (HC). Visitors are always welcome at rehearsals!

For the Bi-College Orchestra

This fall the Haverford/Bryn Mawr College Orchestra will perform Beethoven’s Symphony No 1 in C Major, Rossini’s Overture to an Italian in Algiers and George Walker’s Lyric for Strings. In the spring semester, the orchestra will perform Brahms’ Symphony No. 4 in E Minor and the winner of the Student Concerto Competition.

In chamber music and orchestra, students will have the opportunity to work with the Momenta Quartet, Imani Winds, the Graham Ashton Brass Quintet, and internationally acclaimed cellist Lynn Harrell.

Auditions will double for chamber and orchestra.
